Distance ShadingShades particles based on their distance from a point.
This node shades particles based on their distance from a shape. The shape type is chosen using the Distance Mode parameter. Distance from the chosen shape is then calculated and a falloff function is used to produce a value that is used for shading. The distance calculation may be inverted so that the shading result is greater when further away from the shape.
These properties control the 3D transforms of the node. Transforms will generally be inherited by child nodes, although they can be ignored through the Inherit Transform Channels attributes.

Toggle which transform channels should be inherited from the parent node. By default, all transforms will be inherited.
|Position X||Toggle inheritance of the X Position from the parent.|

|Position Z||Toggle inheritance of the Z Position from the parent.|
|Rotation Heading||Toggle inheritance of the Rotation Heading from the parent.|
|Rotation Pitch||Toggle inheritance of the Rotation Pitch from the parent.|
|Rotation Bank||Toggle inheritance of the Rotation Bank from the parent.|
|Scale X||Toggle inheritance of the X Scale from the parent.|
|Scale Y||Toggle inheritance of the Y Scale from the parent.|
|Scale Z||Toggle inheritance of the Z Scale from the parent.|
|World Position Only||Inherit the world position from the parent only, rotation and scale will be ignored. Overrides above properties.|
|Inherit Time||Toggle inheritance of time from the parent.|
These properties control the core behaviours of the node.
|Distance Mode||Choose what shape the particles are calculated to be a distance from.
|Radius||Outer radius for which the particles will no longer be coloured.|
|Inner Radius||Inner radius for which the particles will be coloured at their max.|
|Falloff Power||How quickly the gradient changes from the inner radius to the outer radius.|
|Colour||Change the colour of the particles as they spawn.|
|Invert Distance||toggle whether the calculation is done for inside or outside the inner radius.|
|Blend Mode||Choose how the particle colours blend to the source colours|
|Blend Amount||Control how much the new shading affects the particles.|
|Position Node||Overrides the transform of the shape used to calculate the distance.||Null|
