Hot Zone

This node detects if the centre point of an object moves into a region.

Method #

This node detects if the centre point of an object moves into a region. Useful for detecting if a different has entered a region, and triggering some sort of effect.

Generally used in conjunction with an Extractor node, which can pick up on the “Current Hit Zone” and “Any Hit Zone”. These values can then be further processed within a modifier system to trigger anything from particle animations to video transitions.

Parameters

These properties control the 3D transforms of the node. Transforms will generally be inherited by child nodes, although they can be ignored through the Inherit Transform Channels attributes.

Toggle which transform channels should be inherited from the parent node. By default, all transforms will be inherited.

These properties control the core behaviours of the node.
