Method #
This node iteratively expands the bright pixels in an image, filling in darker areas and brightening the overall image. Useful for expanding a mask which has been generated too tight around the subject.
Parameters
These properties control the core behaviours of the node.
Parameter Details Blend Amount Changes the opacity of the new effect over the original image.
Iterations (Effect Size) How many times the dilate function is run.
Mode Which directions the image is dilated in.
- Horizontal + Vertical : Both horizontal and vertical are dilated.
- Horizontal : Only horizontal is dilated.
- Vertical : Only vertical is dilated.
- Cross : Both diagonals are dilated.
