Bakes incoming modifier values to the timeline.
Bake Modifier
Method #
This node takes incoming modifier values and bakes them to keyframe values on the timeline. Used to generate animation keyframes that are locked and repeatable.
Parameters
These properties control the core behaviours of the node.
Parameter Details Bake Now..
Bake incoming values to keyframes on the timeline. Will save all value data for the length of the node’s time segment in the timeline.
Current Value
Shows the current value of the effect. Cannot be directly changed.
Incoming Value
Displays the current unbaked incoming value.
Baked Value
Displays the current baked value.
Pass Through
Set wether to use the Baked Value data or the Incoming Value data.
Bake Frame Rate
Set the rate at which values will be baked to keyframes.
Modifier Operation
The operation to be performed on the targeted parameter.
- Add : Adds to the parameter value.
- Subtract : Subtracts from the parameter value.
- Multiply : Multiplies the parameter value.
- Replace : Replaces the parameter value.

Parameter Details Duration
Control the duration of the node’s time segment.
- Composition Duration : Use the length of the composition for the node’s time segment duration.
- Custom : Set a custom duration for the node’s time segment.
Node Time
The custom start and end time for the node.
Duration (Timecode)
The length of the node’s time segment (in time).
Duration (Frames)
The length of the node’s time segment (in frames).
Time Segment Enabled
Set whether the node’s time segment is enabled or not in the Timeline.
