Receive a string from OSC.Updated: 4 Dec 2023
Receive a string from OSC.This node receives a string OSC value over the network then applies it to a destination value, for use within a Text node or to be processed by other text string nodes.
If the node is red hashed out, this means the node isn’t receiving data. This is either because an OSC address needs to be set, or because OSC needs to be enabled in the Preferences.> Protocols window.
Please note that the OSC message must only contain a single string value.
The incoming OSC values will only be processed when the play head is playing
See OSC Topic for more details.
