Transforms input greyscale values into random RGB colours.Updated: 2 Sep 2025
Transforms input greyscale values into random RGB colours. This node transforms input greyscale values into random RGB colours. A typical input could be a Gradient node, or a Cells node, as they create greyscale values.
Shading nodes are applied to material texture channels to generate textures procedurally while rendering.
These properties control the core behaviours of the node.
Parameter | Details |
---|---|
Range Min | The minimum value of a selected range. |
Range Max | The maximum value of a selected range. |
Power | How strong the shading value is output. |
Preview In Viewport | Preview the generated shader as an overlay in the viewport. |
