Generate Normals
Method #
This shading node generates normals using the height values from the input shading node. Shading nodes are applied to material texture channels to generate textures procedurally while rendering.
Parameters
Parameter Details
Normal Strength The normal variation.
Delta This area is used to determine the normal shading value. Larger values produce wider, softer normals, while smaller values result in thinner, sharper normals.
Preview In Viewport Passes this node’s output to the destination material as a colour channel, so it can be previewed more easily.
