Motion Direction Follower
Updated: 4 Dec 2023
Generates a new transform from the movement of an input transform.Updated: 4 Dec 2023
Generates a new transform from the movement of an input transform. This node generates rotation angles using the motion of the node it is following. This allows it to be used to point an object in the direction of motion of the following node.
The node whose motion should be tracked is added to the Following Node input, and the output can be connected to any node where the position and rotation of those transforms are needed.
The properties control the time at which the node is active. See Timeline for editing time segments.
| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Duration |
Control the duration of the node’s time segment.
|
| Node Time | The custom start and end time for the node. |
| Duration (Timecode) | The length of the node’s time segment (in time). |
| Duration (Frames) | The length of the node’s time segment (in frames). |
| Time Segment Enabled | Set whether the node’s time segment is enabled or not in the Timeline. |
