VR Controller

VR Controller

Contains the transform data from a connected VR controller.

Method #

This node is an object with full position and rotation data from a VR controller or VR trackable node. It is generally used as a parent to other objects to provide them with position/rotations.

it can be also be used in tandem to an Extractor Node to extract button presses, where the output of the VR Touch Controller node is fed into the Source input of the Extractor node.

All nodes connected to this node are treated as if flowing to the parent node, and inherits any transformation changes along the chain. When connected to an Extractor modifier, various other properties become available for tracking the buttons and triggers.

Parameters

These properties control the 3D transforms of the node. Transforms will generally be inherited by child nodes, although they can be ignored through the Inherit Transform Channels attributes.

Control the inheritance of the transforms from the parent.

World Position OnlyInherit the world position from the parent only, rotation and scale will be ignored. Overrides above properties.
