The Scattering parameter is used to control the ratio of scattering vs absorption. Clouds have high scattering, low absorption; smoke has low scattering and high absorption.
These properties control the core behaviours of the node.
| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Tint Colour | Tints the field. |
| Density | Scales the density of the field. |
| Scattering | The ratio of scattering vs absorption. |
| Scatter Mode |
The method of scattering.
|
| Scatter Anisotrophy | How much none uniformity the scatting has. |
| Scattering Colour | Controls the ratio of scattering vs absorption per colour channel. |
The properties control the time at which the node is active. See Timeline for editing time segments.
| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Duration |
Control the duration of the node’s time segment.
|
| Node Time | The custom start and end time for the node. |
| Duration (Timecode) | The length of the node’s time segment (in time). |
| Duration (Frames) | The length of the node’s time segment (in frames). |
| Time Segment Enabled | Set whether the node’s time segment is enabled or not in the Timeline. |
| Name | Description | Typical Input |
|---|---|---|

| Colour Nodes | Shading node input for controlling the overall colour of the field system. | Fractal Noise |
| Emissive Colour Nodes | Shading node input for controlling the overall emissive colour of the field system. | Fractal Noise |
