Fertilize
Method #
This node applies a growing effect to the parent mesh. A number of vertices are chosen as seed points, and the rest of the mesh is revealed from those points outwards via the edge connections.
Parameters
Parameter Details
Reveal Front The front reveal value. 0 = nothing visible, 1 = fully visible.
Reveal Back The back reveal value. 1 = nothing visible, 0 = fully visible.
Cap Ends Determines whether to generate cap polys for the open edges created by the growth.
Seed Mode The method by which seed vertices are selected.
- Single Point Index : Select a single vertex using the seed parameter as the vertex index.
- Points In Selection Radius : Select vertices by proximity, using the selection radius and position parameters.
- Random Points : Select random vertices using the seed parameter to seed the randomness and seed amount to control the number of points.
- Weightmap : Use a vertex or polygon weightmap to select the seed vertices. the seed amount parameter acts as a threshold on weightmap values.
