Extend

Extend

This node extends a parent mesh with a cut plane and a direction to extend along.

Method #

This node cuts the parent mesh along a plane defined by the node’s transform, and then extends the cut polygons along the offset vector.

Parameters

ParameterDetails
Subdivision OrderToggle whether the deformer is added before or after the object is subdivided.
Subdivision LevelThe subdivision level at which the deformer is applied. Subdivision Order must be set to After Subdivision to Function.
Offset XThe offset vector’s x component.
Offset YThe offset vector’s y component.
Offset ZThe offset vector’s z component.
Offset Relative To Clip PlaneIf enabled, the offset vector will be rotated to align to the cut plane. the offset z parameter will control the offset from the cut plane along the plane’s normal.
