Duplicate Splines

Duplicate Splines

This node creates multiple duplicates of the parent spline.
Example .dfx

Method #

This node creates multiple duplicates of the parent object’s spline paths, offset from the original radially and linearly. This node requires that the parent mesh is a spline or a geometry node that has been converted to splines.

Parameters

ParameterDetails
Num Splines HorizontalThe number of copies of the spline in the horizontal axis.
Num Splines VerticalThe number of copies of the spline in the vertical axis.
Horizontal SpacingThe spacing between the copies of the spline in the horizontal axis.
Horizontal Random VariationThe random variation of the spacing between the copies of the spline in the horizontal axis.
Horizontal OffsetThe offset of the copies of the spline from the original, in the horizontal axis.
Vertical SpacingThe spacing between the copies of the spline in the vertical axis.
Vertical Random VariationThe random variation of the spacing between the copies of the spline in the vertical axis.
Vertical OffsetThe offset of the copies of the spline from the original, in the vertical axis.
Radial Angle SpacingThe radial rotation that is applied between the copies of the spline.
Radial Angle Random VariationThe random variation of the radial rotation applied between the copies of the spline.
Radial Angle OffsetThe radial angle offset of the copies of the spline from the original.
TwistThe variation in the radial angle applied to the spline along the length of the spline.
SeedThe random seed that is applied to all random variation values.
Retain Original SplinesDetermines whether the original splines should be output unchanged as part of the new set.
