Generate altered duplicates the parent splineUpdated: 3 Feb 2025
Generate altered duplicates the parent splineThis node creates multiple duplicates of the parent object’s spline paths, offset from the original radially and linearly. This node requires that the parent mesh is a spline or a geometry node that has been converted to splines.
These properties control the core behaviours of the node.
Parameter | Details |
---|---|
Num Splines Horizontal | The number of copies of the spline in the horizontal axis. |
Num Splines Vertical | The number of copies of the spline in the vertical axis. |
Horizontal Spacing | The spacing between the copies of the spline in the horizontal axis. |
Horizontal Random Variation | The random variation of the spacing between the copies of the spline in the horizontal axis. |
Horizontal Offset | The offset of the copies of the spline from the original, in the horizontal axis. |
Vertical Spacing | The spacing between the copies of the spline in the vertical axis. |
Vertical Random Variation | The random variation of the spacing between the copies of the spline in the vertical axis. |
Vertical Offset | The offset of the copies of the spline from the original, in the vertical axis. |
Radial Angle Spacing | The radial rotation that is applied between the copies of the spline. |
Radial Angle Random Variation | The random variation of the radial rotation applied between the copies of the spline. |
Radial Angle Offset | The radial angle offset of the copies of the spline from the original. |
Twist | The variation in the radial angle applied to the spline along the length of the spline. |
Seed | The random seed that is applied to all random variation values. |
Retain Original Splines | Determines whether the original splines should be output unchanged as part of the new set. |
