Duplicate Splines

Updated: 3 Feb 2025

Generate altered duplicates the parent spline
Example .dfx

Method #

This node creates multiple duplicates of the parent object’s spline paths, offset from the original radially and linearly. This node requires that the parent mesh is a spline or a geometry node that has been converted to splines.

Parameters

These properties control the core behaviours of the node.

ParameterDetails
Splines XThe number of copies of the spline in the horizontal axis.
Splines YThe number of copies of the spline in the vertical axis.
Spacing XThe spacing between the copies of the spline in the horizontal axis.
Spacing YThe spacing between the copies of the spline in the vertical axis.
Variation XThe random variation of the spacing between the copies of the spline in the horizontal axis.
Variation YThe random variation of the spacing between the copies of the spline in the vertical axis.
Offset XThe offset of the copies of the spline from the original, in the horizontal axis.
Offset YThe offset of the copies of the spline from the original, in the vertical axis.
Radial SpacingThe radial rotation that is applied between the copies of the spline.
Radial VariationThe random variation of the radial rotation applied between the copies of the spline.
SeedThe random seed that is applied to all random variation values.
Radial OffsetThe radial angle offset of the copies of the spline from the original.
TwistThe variation in the radial angle applied to the spline along the length of the spline.
Original SplinesDetermines whether the original splines should be output unchanged as part of the new set.
