Generate altered duplicates of the parent splineUpdated: 1 Sep 2025
Generate altered duplicates of the parent splineThis node creates multiple duplicates of the parent object’s spline paths, offset from the original radially and linearly. This node requires that the parent mesh is a spline or a geometry node that has been converted to splines.
These properties control the core behaviours of the node.
Parameter | Details |
---|---|
Splines X | The number of copies of the spline in the horizontal axis. |
Splines Y | The number of copies of the spline in the vertical axis. |
Spacing X | The spacing between the copies of the spline in the horizontal axis. |
Spacing Y | The spacing between the copies of the spline in the vertical axis. |
Variation X | The random variation of the spacing between the copies of the spline in the horizontal axis. |
Variation Y | The random variation of the spacing between the copies of the spline in the vertical axis. |
Offset X | The offset of the copies of the spline from the original, in the horizontal axis. |
Offset Y | The offset of the copies of the spline from the original, in the vertical axis. |
Radial Spacing | The radial rotation that is applied between the copies of the spline. |
Radial Variation | The random variation of the radial rotation applied between the copies of the spline. |
Seed | The random seed that is applied to all random variation values. |
Radial Offset | The radial angle offset of the copies of the spline from the original. |
Twist | The variation in the radial angle applied to the spline along the length of the spline. |
Original Splines | Determines whether the original splines should be output unchanged as part of the new set. |
