Programme Agreement

Definitions: #

  • “You” / “Your” : You, the individual who is participating in the Notch 1.0 Beta Programme
  • “Us” / “Our” / “We” : 10bit FX Ltd, 86-90 Paul Street, London, UK, EC2A 4NE
  • “Programme” : Notch 1.0 Beta Pre-Release Programme
  • “Software” : Copies of the Notch software as provided under the Beta Programme

What we are providing to you #

We are providing you access to the Notch 1.0 Beta Programme (“Programme”) and corresponding pre-releases for the purposes of product feedback and bug reporting. The pre-release Software is in beta, which means it is not feature-complete, subject to significant change and will contain bugs.

1.0 is a supported release, but has the usual caveats of the Beta status. Test early, test thoroughly, and contact us as soon as possible if any assistance is required.

What you are agreeing to #

By participating in the Programme, you agree:

  • To actively participate in product feedback & bug reporting
  • To keep pre-releases or materials (including software & documentation) provided as part of the Programme, securely and not distribute to any third party
  • Not to share your Notch login details with any third party

You understand:

  • Participation in the Programme is personal and at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to revoke it at any time The Programme will cease at the commencement of the public beta programme, at which point this agreement may be terminated or superseded
  • We offer no warranty or guarantees that content created within the software during the Programme will remain compatible with future versions of the software
  • For the purposes of product feedback & improvement, personalised information (usage metrics, debug data, telemetry) will be stored on our systems regarding your use of our software and supporting online services

For the avoidance of doubt, here’s what you can do:

  • You are able to use the software to render stills and video, which you are free to share publicly
  • You are able to take screenshots or screen captures of the Notch Builder UI and share them publicly
  • You are able to use the software in a live performance setting, either on its own or through Notch Blocks or real-time executable exports.

We value our users copyrights. Content created within the software during the Programme remains your property, and we have no right to use it beyond the purposes of product feedback, diagnosis & analysis.
